The clinic at the Center for Communication Disorders offers speech and language evaluation services, including assessments for AAC devices, to CSU Chico students and children and adults in the surrounding community for a low fee.  The clinic is staffed by graduate students who have done extensive coursework in speech and language therapy.  The grad students are closely supervised by  fully qualified speech pathologists.  The clinic is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and the center can provide AAC assessments on devices ranging from low-tech to high-tech devices.  The clinic has many communication devices available for evaluation purposes.

The Speech Language and Hearing clinic is located on the CSU East Bay campus in Hayward and it provides evaluation services to people of all ages who need assessments for AAC devices.  The clinic is staffed by students who are studying to become speech pathologists.  The students have received their competency certificate from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association and they are licensed by the state of California.  They are also closely supervised by a fully qualified speech pathologist.  The clinic charges minimal fees for its services and offers a sliding scale of fees.  This clinic provides services to people of all ages, and it takes referrals from physicians, schools, and family members.
